As chief operating officer of Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI), Adam Spillane focuses exclusively on project operations by providing oversight and maximizing coordination across all business lines: Energy, Commercial, Data Center, and Modular (offsite assembly and integration). He is dedicated to maximizing resources, talent, and opportunities to drive profitability and responsible growth.
Spillane joined CEI in May 2001 after serving in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Engineer. He has played a key role in navigating the company through major industry shifts—including the dot-com boom, the Great Recession, COVID-19, and the rise of AI—demonstrating his ability to adapt, lead, and seize opportunities. Prior to becoming COO, he led CEI’s Data Center business, which included offsite modularization and mission-critical data center projects, and previously ran commercial operations in San Francisco and Southern California, building some of the region’s largest multi-million-dollar electrical projects.
Spillane holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from the U.S. Naval Academy and has completed numerous courses in electrical construction.
