Rob Lopez joined Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) in May of 2023 to serve in the role of VP of Corporate Safety, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Brett Boncher. Lopez brings more than 25 years of health and safety experience working for mining, civil and general contracting firms around the world to his role at CEI.
Before joining CEI, Lopez served as vice president of safety and health for Flatiron Construction, a HOCHTIEF company. In addition to vice president roles, Lopez also served as corporate safety director for BNBuilders, where the company earned national accolades for their comprehensive and innovative safety approach. He has built safety-focused teams and has extensive experience overseeing distributed groups in a variety of industries.
Lopez holds a bachelor's degree in environmental science from the University of Kansas and is a board-certified safety professional (CSP).
