Casino Among the Top Five Percent of AAA-Rated Properties in North America
SAN JOSE, Calif. — July 11, 2011 — Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) (www.cei.com), a national engineering and construction services company, today announced that the Thunder Valley Casino, whose electrical infrastructure was built by Cupertino Electric, will receive the Four Diamond Award from AAA in 2012. The new, high-rise 294-room hotel at the casino was deemed Four-Diamond worthy by AAA based on a variety of criteria, including guest services and amenities.

Cupertino Electric helped the United Auburn Indian Community build the 275,000-square-foot Thunder Valley Casino nearly a decade ago featuring three full-service restaurants, a spa, gift shop, food court and fire station. Recently, CEI completed construction on the new, 294-room hotel, a 1.4 million square foot parking garage and a central plant at the site to ensure the casino never loses power.
