222 Second Street

CEI was the main electrical contractor at 222 Second Street during the core/shell construction and the complete tenant improvement project that outfitted the entire 26-floor high-rise for a very large career social media client. The build-out of this space included numerous indoor and outdoor amenities, including: 

• A full commercial-grade kitchen to serve all office employees
• A café, small kitchen and outdoor seating area with a fireplace
• An all-hands area with production lighting
• Conference rooms, open offices, copy centers and small kitchens or break rooms on each floor

The site features high-end light fixtures, including custom LED fixtures and specialty decorative lighting integrated into the wireless Enlighted lighting control system. The power usage of the tenant space is monitored via a networked metering system.

CEI's scope of work for the core/shell portion of the project was plans and specs while it was the Design/Build electrical contractor during the tenant improvement project.
