Chorus, known to many as 30 Otis Street, is a 29-floor residential tower in San Francisco, Calif. Working alongside general contractor Turner Construction, Cupertino Electric (CEI) performed as the project's Design/Build electrical contractor from its start in October 2018. The facility features 416 apartment units, five outdoor terraces, two indoor-outdoor fitness rooms, an outdoor training area, an outdoor dog run and pet spa, an outdoor pool and lounge area on the 10th floor, a tenant workshop and numerous communal entertainment areas. The project also features two basement floors of parking.
As the Design/Build contractor, CEI worked alongside engineering firm PAE and architect Gould Evans to design the electrical and lighting systems throughout the facility. CEI performed all electrical installations on the project, including the electrical for the site, substations, all branch circuits, lighting and controls and low voltage.
