The electrical design and construction of this three-story medical office facility expansion spanned 68,000 square feet and contains patient care areas, physician and employee offices, conference rooms, a training center and a lecture hall.Cupertino Electric supplied electrical services to the building containing an OSHPD 3 area. As part of the project, Cupertino Electric tied the new facility and electrical systems into the existing hospital central plant.
Some of the most challenging construction projects involve occupied campuses and OSHPD facilities that cannot afford disruption. The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center project had both. General contractor Whiting-Turner realized in 2009 that it needed an electrical contractor familiar with the healthcare space and OSHPD requirements to provide Design/Build electrical services at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and Cupertino Electric fit the bill.
