This construction of a new 11-building high school spanning 54 acres during an aggressive, 15-month time period required intense coordination by Cupertino Electric's project team. The fast-track construction schedule peaked at 140 electricians and involved 80 high-tech classrooms, a 600-seat performing arts center, and state-of-the-art athletic facilities featuring a gymnasium, softball fields, tennis courts and an Olympic-size swimming pool. The project also featured a commons building with a library and cafeteria, as well as an all-weather field and 2,800-seat outdoor stadium. The high school, serving 2,400, students also features specialized lighting, a fire alarm system, a controls system, communication system and a security system coordinated and installed by CEI.
