UC College of Law, San Francisco

The 14-story UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) project where CEI serves as the Design/build electrical contractor contains three lower-level academic floors and 11 levels of student housing. The first three academic levels include high-end finishes and millwork associated with an appellate moot courtroom, a large classroom, a trial advocacy moot courtroom and a 7,600 assignable square feet of office and workspace. 

The joint student housing/academic space project beganin October 2019 and is anticipate to be complete by the end of summer 2023. Some of the project challenges included material delivery and handling logistics in the midst of the congested downtown San Francisco area and lingering supply chain issues following the pandemic.
