The Vietnamese American Service Center (VASC) is 37,000-square-foot, three-story social and health service center in San Jose, California. The facility is designed to serve one of the largest Vietnamese American communities in the United States. The facility includes a 300-person conference room, lounge rooms, a commercial kitchen, a pharmacy, laboratories, counseling rooms and offices. Cupertino Electric (CEI) installed all power infrastructure for the service cut-over, all branch circuits, power inverters, lighting, lighting controls and device and motor connections. Lighting was a key component of the project and received special consideration throughout.
CEI also installed the low voltage device termination for fire alarm, two-way radio and teledata and built the intermediate distribution frame (IDF) and the main distribution frame (MDF).
